Beauty and the Flaws: Nars Radiant Creamy Concealer Review

Concealer and foundation are probably my favorite type of beauty products. I mean, who doesn't want to perfect their skin? Even though it may be my favorite product to shop for, and test out, I have yet to find the perfect product, my 'holy grail'... Possibly until now.

Packaged in a slim tube with a doe foot applicator,
with the usual NARS material as a top that collects every fingerprint!

NARS Radiant Creamy Concealer retails at $28 for 0.22oz, I chose the shade Light 2-Vanilla

My opinion:

I think for the first time, I completely agree with a companies claims for a product. This is the best concealer I have tried so far. (Which is saying a lot seeming how I have tried countless amounts of concealers.)

I don't like having to use multiple concealers for different purposes. I look for a concealer that will work under my eyes, and on my problem areas.

I haven't had any blemishes lately(thankfully), So I am unable to say how this would work for acne. I consider my problem areas, or the areas I want perfected, to be wherever I have redness. The most stubborn redness I have is on the top of my nose.. I swear I could layer countless amounts of my usual concealers and redness would still come through.

Anyways, I use this concealer under my eyes, and on any redness. And this concealer works perfect. I have very dry under eyes, and usually concealers that are made for the under eye still make my under eyes look dry, crackly, and cakey. This does not. I completely agree with it creating a softer, smoother complexion. Even though I do not have age lines, I do have fine lines under my eyes and this seems to blur them and not make them stand out.

I do not suffer from severe dark circles, but I do have minor darkness and this completely covers it up with the tiniest dot. My under eyes have never looked better.

It covers the redness I want covered with one layer, and two layers on my nose, perfectly without ever looking cakey.

NARS has a good range of 10 shades. The lightest shade I believe will be perfect for the fairest of skin tones. I am usually the lightest shade in most concealers because I like to have my concealer a little bit lighter than my foundation for my under eyes, and the lightest shade was too light for me.

I also believe deeper skin tones will be able to appreciate the shades that are offered, because from many concealer shade ranges that I have seen, not many have concealers that suit darker skin tones.
