Review: Hourglass Veil Mineral Primer

     Recently, I have been on the hunt for a new face primer. I went to Sephora, grabbed every primer I had been interested in and asked for samples. After testing out all the samples, I ended up purchasing a bottle of the Hourglass Mineral Veil Primer (of course I chose the most expensive one out of the samples... )

Chanel Inimitable Intense Mascara Review

I use to be all for drugstore mascaras thinking mascara wasn't worth a splurge... Then i fell in love with the YSL Babydoll mascara and jumped on the band wagon for high end mascaras, which lead me to stumble upon the Chanel Inimitable Intense Mascara.

I had originally gone to the Chanel counter for the Le Volume De Chanel, after hearing many great reviews, but it turned out to be waaay to dramatic and overwhelming for an everyday mascara. 

So after being slightly disappointed,  I was still on the hunt for a new mascara so I tried out the Inimitable Intense while I was at the counter and ended up leaving that little charm.

What they say:

Rimmel Match Perfection Concealer Review

Hello, my names Mariah.. and I am a concealer hoarder.

I crave perfect skin and have gone through tons of products to find it. After trying most likely every drugstore concealer available, and not being 100% satisfied with either, I dished out the mere $5 for this concealer without having high expectations.

What they say:

DIY: Spot Treatment to Reduce Redness/Size

Isn't it lovely when you wake up in the morning with a lovely new blemish that decided to move in over night?.... 

No, he needs to pack up all of his stuff and go back to where he came from, immediately. 

Sadly, blemishes don't care if they're unwanted and will show up whenever/wherever they please. But I have found a very successful treatment that will reduce the redness of that sudden blemish and slightly reduce the size...So 20 layers of concealer is not needed to cover the blemish! 

Ipsy Glam Bag-September 2013

I decided to give one of these monthly beauty bag/box subscriptions a try. My thought was that for a $10 a month I would be able to save some money and still be able to test out new beauty products. I don't believe I saved any money this month, because the crazy beauty addict in me "needed" the latest and greatest products.. every other day.

But I still like the idea that I can try out beauty products that are delivered to my mailbox monthly!

I loved this product the moment I applied it. But wait about ten minutes, and that leads to the reason why I returned it..

Dior Creme de Rose Smoothing Plumping Lip Balm Review

What they say:

I am not usually into lipsticks/lip color, but boy do I love me some lip balm! I buy excessive amounts of anything that claims to hydrate/smooth my lips. So, once I came across this luxurious Dior lip balm that sounded perfect, I did't even think when I handed over the near $30 for this product, (which is probably something I should work on...)
